"Living Coral"
Paradise Quilters 2020 Quilt Challenge!
Paradise Quilters 2020 Quilt Challenge!
The Pantone color of the year for 2020 is 16-1546 Living Coral. Doesn’t that sound like a good color for us! Pantone colors are primarily print colors the name alone gives you an idea of the color we are looking for in your quilt. We will provide paint chips at the March meeting which will give you a suggestion of the color, an exact color match is NOT required.
The objective of this challenge is to promote and encourage the art and appreciation of quilt making by: (1) Providing an informal competition to spotlight the imagination and creativity of our guild members and (2) Rewarding excellence in design, craftsmanship, use of fabric and Color. Think creatively! Stretch your imagination with this “color” challenge! The possibilities are endless.
As in prior years, there was a mini-quilt show presented at the Artists in Paradise Gallery, Big Pine Key, during March 2020. Additionally, our members had items for sale in the display window at the front of the store during the month of our exhibit.
